Lisa Higgins used to call baking a "hobby". That is, until her casual experimenting, perfecting and taste testing turned into a full-time business! After a few years of offering her goods to local shops, Sweet Pea Baking Co. finally opened its own establishment in 2008, much to the delight of local fans.
Located in SE Portland, Sweet Pea not only offers local, organic and vegan cakes, pies, cupcakes and other delicacies, but has expanded their menu to offer soups, sandwiches, bagels and a full range of pastries... have you been by their cafe yet?
