PARTICIPANT SPOTLIGHT → New Vintage Beauty Salon

Margaret Yeates-Turner opened New Vintage Beauty Lounge in 2010 with the aim of creating a relaxed space for customers, encouraging them to enjoy a glass of wine or tea and indulge in hair and make-up services without the pretentious, high-pressure sales vibes typical in many salons. She has certainly succeeded, as NVB is a a beautiful, relaxing space for hair cutting, coloring and styling, as well as a place to browse a carefully curated make-up and skin care line.

Amber Bayer has been with the salon since it opened, bringing with her over five years of hairstyling experience. Talented in everything from hair color to precision cutting to up-do styling for special events and weddings, Amber draws inspiration from her love of vintage style and soft, romantic looks.
