The FBI estimates the over 100,000 children and young women are trafficked in American today, the average age of a trafficked victim being just 14 years old. These statistics are both staggering and daunting, and we are so amazed by the volunteers of Adorned in Grace who aim to take this statistic head on. They've also begun an outreach program to at-risk girls in low-income neighborhoods, offering design and sewing workshops. They hope that the donated formal wear and accessories can be used to inspire young girls to dream, design, create and develop skills to enrich their lives.
Over $35,000 was raised in the shop's first year, and we hope to help by donating a portion of the Spoken For proceeds to this noble cause.
